This course is designed for first-year students of Urban Engineering. It aims to improve students' skills of English language. It includes different elements of language learning. English is of paramount importance in the ESP context. This means that learners should have a certain level of English so that they can use their language skills in the field of study. In this course, the teacher respects the guidelines of CANVAS, in this respect, the lessons are prepared based on these guidelines. She also tries to simplify the content of the lessons so that all students can understand the information easily. Her teaching style is simple and clear, which grabs their attention.
Since most of the modules are taught in English, students have to master some skills in this language and use them to improve their domain-specific (Urban Engineering) skills. Thus, this course includes different lessons about language learning, which help students master basic language learning skills.
